Community Care College awards $1000 to Glenpool High School in Classroom Remix

Tulsa, Okla., (March 4, 2013) – Glenpool High School teacher Kenzie Royce has been selected as the March Classroom Remix winner by Community Care College (CCC). Royce will receive a $1000 donation to help her 10th grade classroom.

“I am hoping to use the money to get some new technology for the classroom, possibly an iPad that the students can use,” said Royce, who teaches World History and AP Geography at the high school.  “I also would like to get some new books and do some general updates to the classroom.”

Royce submitted a photo of her classroom to CCC and their branch campuses, Clary Sage College (CSC) and Oklahoma Technical College (OTC), on Instagram and Twitter. The colleges are giving away $1000 every month to different Oklahoma high schools.

CCC President Kevin Kirk will award Royce with the check on the Glenpool High School campus on Monday, April 15th.
