A Diversified Skill Set
We give students an opportunity to practice on the latest accounting software used by hundreds of thousands of small businesses all across the country. This includes QuickBooks accounting software and an in-depth look at Microsoft Excel.
We also cover non-accounting aspects of administration such as human resources and office management training. As an accounting department graduate, we will give you the experience you need to be set up for long term success. The accounting program is focused on helping students hone their critical thinking and problem solving skills. By adding QuickBooks and Excel, we ensure our students graduate well-rounded and job-ready.
Bookkeeping Vs. Accounting Assistant
We offer two different accounting based programs to meet the needs of every student looking to jump into the accounting field.
Bookkeeping Program – This program can be completed in as little as 11 months and prepares student for entry level Bookkeeping and Accounting Assistant positions.
AOS Accounting Program – This program allows students to take their education further and earn an Associates of Occupational Science Degree in as little as 20 months to help them become an Accounting Assistant. The Accounting Program prepares students for future leadership and management roles in the accounting field by combining the knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting with general business concepts.
