They might provide planned activities, a daily schedule and enrichment activities for the children, such as going to a museum or the zoo. A nanny might also assist with a few household chores or errands, but if a nanny position requires many household duties then the job might be considered a housekeeping position versus a nanny position. Be sure to negotiate your pay and job duties with your employer.
According to Care.com, the hourly nanny wage generally ranges from $12 – $25 per hour, depending on the area of the country and the number of children under your care.
