Building Professional Confidence in Paralegals
[Tulsa, Oklahoma] – On Saturday, May 5th from 8am – 3pm, NALS, the National Association of Legal Professionals, will host its 2018 Annual Board meeting at Community Care College. The event will be hosted by the school’s Paralegal Studies program. This is the third year the NALS board meeting has been held the event at CCC.
“Having NALS on campus is always an honor. It’s an excellent opportunity for our paralegal students to network with legal professionals,” said Ruth Swimmer, Paralegal Department Head and Distance Education Director.
The day’s events include continuing paralegal education courses taught by local attorneys. Damario Solomon-Simmons, Esq., of Riggs and Abney will present on Civil Rights. Other presentations will include Ashley Webb, Esq., also of Riggs Abney, on Immigration Law and Catherine Welsh, Esq., of Welsh and McGough PLLC on Estate Planning. NALS mission is to engage, inspire, and support legal support professionals and to enhance their careers.
