New Credential Available to Students: Community Care College provides opportunity to receive Child Development Associate Credential™

September 20, 2017

Tulsa, Okla., (September 20, 2017) – The Early Childhood Education program at Community Care College has partnered with the Council for Professional Recognition to implement the Child Development Associate (CDA) credentialing process.

Early Childhood Education Department Head, Shani Snell shares, “The CDA partnership is an exciting addition to our ECE program. The CDA Credential™ is nationally accepted and our partnership with them will allow our current students and past graduates to count their ECE hours toward the professional education requirement of 120 hours in 8 specific ECE subject areas. We look forward to supporting our graduates through the process of obtaining their CDA and advancing in their ECE career.”

According to their website, earning the CDA Credential™ allows educators to be connected to a large community of early childhood educators as over 370,000 have received their CDA to date. This partnership will provide a higher standard of learning to the students.

Community Care College is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dually licensed and accredited institution offering various diploma and degree programs in healthcare, business and lifestyle careers. For more information on CCC’s parent company, visit CommunityHigherEd.
