4 Interactive Websites for Children

February 24, 2015

Kids are crazy for technology! It’s important to provide early learners with time to simply play, create and use their imaginations. One fun way to incorporate technology into your little ones’ education are fun interactive websites!

Here are four fun and educational interactive websites:

Starfall is a phonics-based website for children pre-K through first grade that aims to develop and strengthen reading skills.

According to their website, “ABCya.com is the leader in free educational kids computer games and activities for elementary students to learn on the web.” Each game is broken down by grade level and designed with that in mind.

Xtra Math

XtraMath helps children improve their math fluency with addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. This user-friendly site shares multiple videos over each math discipline.

Suessville, named for Dr. Suess, includes kid-friendly activities such as reading and writing activities, character games and more.

All of these sites are easily navigated by children themselves, and require minimal parental assistance. What are a few sites your little ones love?
