Dental Assistant Students visit Route 66 Dental Implants
The Community Care College Dental Assisting Phrase III students visited and toured the office of Dr. Wong at Route 66 Dental Implants at 4604 S Harvard this week to learn about periodontics.
The Dental Assisting students were shown the different operatories for treatment and sedation, sterilization, lab processes and how bone graft material is stored. They were able to see 3D views of cephalometric and panoramic x-rays.
The Dental Assisting Department Head commented that “the students enjoy touring different specialty dental practices and how they differ as it related to that specialty.”
