Community Care College Career Fair

On April 14th, we hosted our spring Career Fair! We had 38 employers representing our allied health programs, paralegal studies, and dental and veterinary assisting programs here to meet with over 200 of our online and on-ground students about job and externship opportunities and networking connections.

In the weeks leading up to the Career Fair, our students partnered with the Career Services team to prepare, which included building their resumes and learning how to network with future employers. This was an exercise in preparation for the students – especially when it came to professional dress!

Their hard work paid off through securing interviews – 14 as of a week after the event – and even job offers. Our employers were very impressed with the students and instructors. On our employer surveys, we had the following feedback and nearly everyone wanted to be invited back!

“Students were professional and motivated.”

“Everyone was extremely professional, prepared, knowledgeable, and inquisitive at every vendor – not just their specific field.”

“I have attended numerous events throughout the Midwest, and your career fair is one of the most outstanding I have ever attended!”
