We Are All the Same, but Different

We are all the same, but different.

How can siblings raised in the same home be so different? Have you ever wondered about that? I have…A LOT. I have two sisters and one brother (deceased). My brother and I were very similar in our thinking – politically and otherwise – but my two sisters and I are not closely aligned when it comes to politics and other interests. Don’t get me wrong, I love my sisters dearly and would do anything for them (except voting as a Democrat – LOL), but we are very different.

I believe God made us all the same, but different, because we would all be bored if everyone was just like us.

Below are some quotes that I hope will attest to our differences and how we relate to one another:

“My people skills are just fine. It’s my tolerance for idiots that needs work.”

“Have you ever listened to someone for a while and wondered, ‘Who ties your shoe laces?'”

“If people could read my mind, I’d get punched in the face a lot.”

“Calm down, take a long, deep breath, and hold if for about 20 minutes.”

“Don’t confuse my personality with my attitude. My personality is who I am. My attitude depends on who you are!”

Obviously these quotes are both funny and true sometimes. We really are all the same, but different, aren’t we?
