Tulsa, Okla., (June 20, 2013) – Community Care College (CCC) Massage Therapy students recently participated in “Top of the Town”, a fundraising event for the Child Resource Center of Tulsa.
Students set up their massage chairs for the event held at the Marriott Courtyard in downtown Tulsa and provided a free 10 minute chair massage to over 60 individuals during the event.
Top of the Town has been held the second Thursday in June every year since 2008. All proceeds from the event and ticket sales go to benefit the Child Care Resource Center and help to fund programs and resource for children in the Tulsa area. The event affords patrons the opportunity to get an inside look at many of Tulsa’s historic downtown buildings.
The Massage Therapy department at CCC is dedicated to providing quality professional education to its students and alumni. Students participate in 3 monthly volunteer events as part of a commitment to make a positive impact on Tulsa and surrounding areas. This is the third year CCC students have provided massage at Top of the Town.
