Tulsa, Okla., (March 4, 2013) – Community Care College (CCC) has been selected as a Certified Healthy Business by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.

“An overwhelming amount of research indicates that healthy employees lead to happier employees,” said Danny Stephens, Health and Fitness Instructor at CCC. “Here at Community Care College, we strive to provide a fitness friendly environment for all of our employees. We understand that to have a productive team we need to be as healthy as possible!”

Certified Healthy Business is a program of the Shape Your Future campaign and recognizes businesses that make a positive impact on the health of their employees. Matters such as providing employee health screenings, workplace health education and opportunities for physical exercise activities as well as size of the business were taken into account.

An awards luncheon was held in Oklahoma City last month to celebrate Certified Healthy recipients.
