A look into Diastema

Dental hygiene is a must. Be sure to brush and floss twice a day and avoid too many acidic foods, and your smile will continue to be bright. But what if you have a gap in your teeth?

Some individuals decide to get braces to mind the gap, but others embrace their gap, known as diastema. Many species of mammals have diastema as a normal feature. Herbivores utilize these spaces to assist in breaking down their food.

Diastema or not, be sure to stay on top of your dental care!
